A program to draw dynamic geometric shapes
These pages are about Plane Euclidean Geometry, teaching, solving problems and doing research, using EucliDrawİ, a program to draw geometric shapes, and watch their changes as various parameters are modified by the user.
The program started under the name Isoptikonİ at the University of Crete. This first version was published in 1999, in the free public domain and circulated widely in the Internet. EucliDrawİ, abbreviated EUC, is a sequel to Isoptikonİ. It differs though from it in many aspects. The functionality has been considerably extended and now, among others, covers: elementary shapes such as lines, circles, triangles, etc. , conics, dynamic change capabilities, dynamic geometric loci and envelopes, transformations, programming/scripting and extendability through user-defined-tools.
